the one where he ate a pig, and he liked it
Just got back from returning the movie, Gamer. Like I said on my side bar, it was a good movie, forgettable, and one I’ll probably never watch again. It was like they massed up a whole bunch of movies and added boobs to this one. Good action, terrible acting, and basically zero plot. I ended up being the only one watching it. Mostly because I didn’t have a book, and didn’t feel like falling asleep at 8 pm.
Anyway, after dropping it off at redbox, we stopped at Newport Creamery, and had some breakfast, because I was starving. Well not really, but I was starting to get that “I really have to east soon” headache. So I got the Creamery special; 3 eggs any style (over easy) 3 sausages 3 bacon, home fries, and toast. And Crystal got Eggs Benedict. I ended up eating one of her eggs, and some of her home fries too.
Now we’re at home, probably getting ready to go sit on the couch. We have a lot of stuff on the dvr to clear up. Last night we watched the last episode of the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. It was a more subdued show than the night before, and Conan made an awesome closing speech, totally from the heart. You could tell it wasn’t on the teleprompter. Conan loves his job so much, he was tearing as he was basically saying good by to his fans. Then it was the closing bit. Well played Conan. you stay classy. We’ll see you back on tv in September. Bring Andy and the band too please.
So thats about it. Lazy Sunday here. Then work for two days, then Wednesday off, then work for two days.
Only 19 days until Crystal’s birthday. I have no idea what to get her. We’ll be on vacation for er birthday week, and maybe going up to Boston. If I can convince her to go up there, just to be tourists. And wander. She says she needs a plan. So we’ll see.
It’s also only 19 days until the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. I’m going to be watching more this time because I really do consider Vancouver as my home town. I spend a good chuck of my life there. In fact the first place i moved out on my own was Vancouver. Well over a 1000 miles from home. I only knew like 2 people in the whole area. Some of my more favourite times where from Vancouver. I still miss it there sometimes. I miss living in a huge city. But it’s so expensive there, if I would have stayed any longer, I would have been homeless. Vancouver is a hard city if you don’t have a good paying job. I think I’d like to visit it again.

Running skirts, some non-black compression shorts (like the knee lengthones I’ve got already), NEW SNEAKERS, some new shirts to run in (like the tanks I have now, or long-sleeved technical shirts). And bling for my ears.
hehe i said that to throw you off the trail! i know what i am getting you! walmart shoes with velcro!
So, wait? Where’s the pig part? Your title is misleading! I thought you were gonna eat a whole pig! (;
technically i did eat a pig; i had bacon sausages and ham!
I LOVE Vancouver. When I was a teenager we drove from Seattle to Whistler to go snow skiing – what we saw of Vancouver I loved. Plus, Whistler, I mean, wow. Best place to ski. I was thrilled when I heard that the Olympics were going to be held there!!
there are some days i long for the liquid sunshine, but then i remember how expensive everything was. like i said, i’d love to visit again
