the one where he cleans off his desk

Ahh a day off during the week. Yesterday I had plans. Plans I say! I wanted to clean, but we both know that probably won’t happen. I do have a revised plan. I want to clean off my desk. That will happen. In fact, I’m going to be starting it very soon.

Mind you, its not that bad. That’s what I am telling myself. It actually is that bad. I’m not going to post a picture of it, because its embarrassing. So, for a second, I’m gonna stop this post, and clean it. Really I am, I’m not just going to type “5 minutes later” and continue to post.

5 minutes later.

There, its all nice and clean! (I actually just typed that without getting up.)

Ok, that was actually about 5 minutes later as my screen saver came on, and my desk is clean. I found about 15 pens and sharpies and about $2 in various change. And some where in there was my payment book for my truck. Found that too! Also found a recipe for Beer bread. Want it? It’s untested by Casa McBride, but here you go none the less.

Beer bread

3 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup of sugar
12oz beer – room temp

- mix all
- put in greased loaf pan
- gently brush with melted butter
- bake at 325 for 90 minutes
- brush with melted butter 2 times during baking

There you go. Easy huh?

Ok, time to go back to surfing the internet, and complaining that I have nothing to do, and being bored.
