the one where he dislikes loud talkers

Slept in today. It felt really good. The bed was so nice and warm, I didn’t want to go, but the cats were starting to circle the bed. They were hungry. Mal was really hungry because I think he forgets to eat in the middle of the night, and just waits for me to feed him at 5am when I get up for work. I think he is slowly starting to learn that I only do that 5 times in a row, then the next two times, he gets fed later. But both were very good, because they let us sleep in. I only had to pull Mal out of the dresser once this morning. I think it was around 7.

So we got up around 10ish, and I made some coffee and fed the kittens. Crystal was up shortly after, and we decided since it was 12 degrees out, we were not gonna get dressed and go running. We’re actually hoping that it will be slightly warmer in the morning, and we’ll go out then. So she ended up doing some Wii yoga, while I drank some coffee and surfed the net.

Crystal wanted to get a running vest or something like that, so we headed off to Old Navy because there’s a 30% off sale going on there, and its the last day of it. So we wandered around there, and she found a green shirt for the St. Patrick’s Day 5k, I signed us up for. I on the other hand, found nothing that I just had to have.

After Old Navy, and Target, we headed off to get something to eat, and to look in Newbury Comics. We pulled into Newbury Comics first and looked around. I found a video game that both of us can play on the Wii, and its something better than the last two I brought home.

Then Crystal decided that we should go to TGI Fridays for lunch. Yummy! We haven’t been there for a long time, and its always good every time we do end up going. She got a Jack Daniels chicken sandwich, and I got the Cheesy bacon burger. Along with to soda’s, I orderd some Potstickers for and Appetizer. Shortly after we ordered, two giggly girls and their loud talker father came in and sat right next to us. Now my super power in restaurants is to be seated as close to children as possible. So when a couple of teenagers and their father sit down, I figure this should be pretty much ok. Nope, the girls giggled a lot. Like they just smoked weed a lot. And the father sounded like he was trying to hard. Did I mention he was a loud talker? Yes? Ok, just had to make sure.

Not that there’s too much of a point to this story or anything.

So we get home and start to play Ghostbusters. Its fun. Well worth the $14.99 I paid for it. And both of us can play at the same time! Woohoo! I finally found a pretty fun game. But I hear that’s one of the draw backs. Its a short game, like only 5 hours long. I kinda stopped playing after the 1st full mission. Now we’re 26% of the way done the game. Must take it slowly!

Tonight’s movie is Whip it. I can’t wait. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this movie, and I think Ellen Page is a pretty good actor. So I am counting down the hours until we can watch it.

And I am hoping we can run tomorrow, and its not freeze your ass off cold. I will veto myself running! We’ll see.

    Strong suggestion: try never to be in a restaurant with me, Bellaventa, and LibraGirl/Rachel unless you are hanging with us. We’re 3 loud, gutter-mouthed bitches. I feel a teeny bit bad for the people around us at Ninety-Nine last night… And am about to feel bad for our Melting Pot neighbors. :)

      i don’t mind being part of a loud group. maybe he was just loud because he was facing the back of my head, and he was the only volume in the place really

    Mike loved the Ghostbusters game, but you’re right, it’s super short. If you had an Xbox you could do all of the achievements, though, which stretches it out once you finish the main game. Still, it’s pretty fun from what I’ve heard. Although, this is coming from a Ghostbusters junkie, so I’m pretty sure his opinion is heavily biased. (;
